Today is day two of my bowling tournament in Las Vegas: The Showgirl Invitational.
I bowled well yesterday. Let’s hope today is just as good (or better.)
I’m off to Las Vegas today. I saw this while waiting for my plane to arrive.
I’m a big fan of Southwest and since I’m about to board my plane, it’s time to go!
Viva, Las Vegas!
Spending the afternoon at the Oregon State Fair. I’m getting to see Pat Benatar again in concert.
I like the County and State fairs because there are so many things that are hand-crafted, homemade, and there a blue ribbons!
This year’s motto is here comes the fun… and who doesn’t like cookies…
I passed this sign a couple of times today before it struck me.
Use your voice. Speak up. Be strong. Be loud.
If you’re not going to speak up, who will?
(Thanks Wildfang for the inspiration today.)
We were out enjoying our neighborhood street fair the other day and we came across this memorial for a 15 year old girl that was killed while crossing a Portland street with her mom.
There were two things that struck me about this photo: the reminder that your life can be stopped in an instant, and the second is the business in the background: One With Heart. This whole scene broke mine.
This photo comes from a recent trip to the San Juan Islands archipelago in Washington State.
The need to relax and unwind was strong, so I was very thankful for this trip.
That’s Canada off in the distance.
I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been primarily just busy with life. I find that I still snap photos and I should share them. So, I’m going to try to get better at it.
Here’s a new photo!
