From the wayside near Multnomah Falls.
From my walk to work this morning. I just happened to catch this pretty cool scene of blue skies at sunrise and this dark razor wire.
Look familiar? That’s because this summer I took another photo like this: http://schnik.it/2012/06/21/photo-of-the-day-razor-thin/
Today’s photo is of “Big pink” which is the tallest building in Portland, Oregon.
Again, from my walk home from work. There was a boat jettin’ through the Willamette River, I almost caught it. Though, I think this shot is much better.
Today’s photo, from waterfront park, is Portland’s Willamette River Seawall.
Not a bad view on a sunny day.
Saw this on my walk to work today. Fall’s comin’.
This photo, from Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood looks SE towards Mt. Bachelor, near Bend, Oregon. It’s like you could almost walk there.
I took a day trip to Mt. Hood. Which, is one of the reasons I love Portland so much. You can, quite literally, drive from Mountain range to Seashore in a couple hours. Ski and surf? Why not. At one of the lakes near the base of Mt. Hood I took this photo from the car. Thought it made a great photo.
Today’s photo comes from inside Northeast Portland. This park, which is in a roundabout in NE Portland, on Glisan and 39th avenue. Recently some vandals gave Joan a crown and her horse a unicorn horn. That act of mythological defiance took 3 days to repair. I wish people would leave things alone!
Still, I dedicate today’s photo to my friends @PaceSmith and @Kyeli for following their hearts and embarking on a new journey and following their dreams.
From the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.
