From the McMinnville Air & Space Museum. These old tires sit by themselves amongst the planes – they’d be easily overlooked. It’s interesting the tricks your mind plays on you here.
I ran across this photo on a visit to the McMinnville Air & Space Museum. I thought the whole frame was interesting.
Heh. Actually, probably not. This photo was taken at the McMinnville Air & Space Museum. In the early days of commercial passenger flight, you got your own seat, you dressed for the flight, and the stewardesses served coffee or tea in silver pots. This particular lap of luxury did not include wifi or an in-flight movie, but that’s probably ok because you didn’t have to power down everything before they let you take off…
The other day, I was driving back to Portland from McMinnville, Oregon. I saw this photo happening, so I pulled over an snapped a quick shot. I thought it was pretty interesting.
